In school we were doing memoirs which are past experiences. This is my memoir.
As I arrive I saw my friends getting ready to suit up into their extra clothes for more layers for protection, there were large green nets for the perimeter. I heard my sister and mum say “have fun” and “good luck,” then left me there, but those words quickly faded away, I was only there with my allies. We get handed out clothes, helmets and weapons; we quickly got into the clothes and put on our helmets, eager but wondered how much it will hurt if we got shot. As we stepped onto the battlefield the air, and everyone else around me were ecstatic. I slowly walked towards my base. We needed a plan.
Before the horn went off, Kieran, Matthew and I, made a plan for the capture the flag battle and we made a plan. It was for two people to stay in the base while the smallest and quickest, which was me, to run towards the flag while the enemy are distracted by my team so I can sneak behind them grab it and then get a point for our team, it worked the first time but the enemy was quicker the next. We soon stayed in our base or near the flag after our foes got more points. We then started getting back at them. It was starting to become neck and neck.
The end was coming closer, but so was the taste of defeat. Toby snuck into our base and he started hail firing at me and I got shot three times basically in the same spot, I stood up and went to go to the base but I kept on getting shot so I kept on shouting “I’m already hit!” over and over. We gave it all we got and eventually the air horn went off and we were all exhausted but waiting for the result. The end score was 8-6 to them. Although we lost, we clapped and said good job to everyone, then we left and went home.
