Term One, Week Five Maths Learning Reflections

The past couple of weeks have been loaded with maths more maths and tests. For maths we have been going over: Prime numbers, H.C.F (Highest Common Factor), L.C.M (Lowest Common Multiples), Multiples and Factors all this week, like I said it's packed. Here is one of my learning reflections for maths, but before I start on the learning reflection I will tell you what they are first. A learning reflection is a piece of writing which tells the teacher what you have learned so you don't cheat your answers. Here is my learning reflection for finding the total number of tens and hundreds ect.

To find the total number of tens and hundreds ect. is quite easy once you understand, here is an example.

Find the total number of tens

134

The answer is 13.4

you get this by thinking "well ten ten's equals 100 but you take one zero away like you are doing division and you are dividing it by ten so now it's ten. So if you divide 30 by ten you get 3 and if you divide 4 by ten you get .4 so now you have the answer, 13.4.
